Fresh recipe drops
New recipes are added throughout the month, with a mix of weeknight dinners, seasonal ideas, breakfasts, sides, desserts, and relaxed weekend cooking.
Doubstsucare is my organized home for recipes worth returning to: practical weeknight dinners, seasonal inspiration, easy breakfasts, relaxed weekend cooking, printable recipe cards, and thoughtful kitchen notes gathered in one welcoming place.
Membership starts at $12/month. Renews automatically unless canceled. You can cancel from your account before your next billing date.
I’m Mara Ellis, the recipe creator behind Doubstsucare. I started this membership because I know how easy it is to collect inspiration everywhere and still end up standing in the kitchen at five o’clock wondering what to make.
I used to have screenshots on my phone, torn-out magazine pages, bookmarked websites, half-written notes, and recipes I loved but could never find again when I actually needed them. I wanted one dependable place that felt personal, calm, useful, and genuinely enjoyable to browse.
That became Doubstsucare: a growing collection of everyday recipes and cooking ideas designed to help you spend less time searching and more time making something you’re glad you chose. Some days that means a bright sheet-pan dinner. Other days it means soup, toast, a comforting bowl, or a dessert that makes an ordinary evening feel special.
You do not need perfect meal plans, a huge pantry, or hours of free time. You just need reliable ideas, clear instructions, and enough flexibility to make a recipe your own.
I believe everyday food should feel inviting rather than complicated. A beautiful dinner does not need dozens of unusual ingredients. A good breakfast does not need to become a project. And a recipe should never make you feel as if you failed because you swapped one herb, used frozen vegetables, or served the same favorite twice in a month.
Doubstsucare is built around that practical philosophy. Recipes are organized by the way people actually cook: what sounds good, what fits the time available, what is in season, what uses familiar ingredients, and what can be adapted without turning dinner into a puzzle.
I also wanted to create a place that feels pleasant to return to. Think of it as a digital recipe binder with better search, fresh ideas, and my notes in the margins. You can browse for inspiration, save what catches your eye, print a card for the counter, and come back later without starting from scratch.
Everything is organized to help you move from “What should I make?” to a realistic idea you can enjoy cooking.
New recipes are added throughout the month, with a mix of weeknight dinners, seasonal ideas, breakfasts, sides, desserts, and relaxed weekend cooking.
Browse by meal, mood, season, ingredient, cooking style, or time available so you can find something useful without scrolling endlessly.
Recipes are written for home kitchens, with straightforward steps, practical prep notes, and timing cues that make the process easier to follow.
Prefer paper on the counter? Print a clean version of a recipe so your phone does not have to sit beside the chopping board.
Build your own personal shortlist of recipes you loved, ideas you want to try, and dependable meals you know you will come back to.
Add recipe ingredients to a simple list you can review before shopping, with room to remove pantry staples you already have.
When a swap is genuinely workable, I include simple alternatives for herbs, vegetables, grains, dairy, proteins, and pantry ingredients.
Collections rotate through the year so the library keeps feeling fresh, from spring lunches and summer tomatoes to cozy autumn cooking.
Receive a concise member email when new collections or useful kitchen notes are added. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe option.
Some days you know you want soup. Some days you only know you have thirty minutes. Collections give you multiple ways into the library.
These examples show the style of cooking Doubstsucare is built around: colorful, achievable, adaptable, and enjoyable without being overworked.

Use the leftover notes on yesterday’s recipe to turn extra vegetables or grains into a different lunch.
Browse the seasonal collection and save two ideas that use produce you are already excited to buy.

Try a longer recipe when you actually feel like spending time in the kitchen, not because a plan says you must.
Browse favorites, save a few ideas for the week ahead, and let tomorrow’s dinner become one less decision.

A good cooking routine has room for new flavors, familiar favorites, leftovers, shortcuts, and nights when simple is exactly right.
I favor ingredients that are reasonably easy to find and explain substitutions when the recipe has room to flex.
Instructions should tell you what matters, when it matters, without burying the cooking in unnecessary complication.
Changing seasons are a useful source of inspiration, not a rulebook. Use what is good, available, and appealing where you live.
Food is practical, but it can also be creative, comforting, social, nostalgic, or simply delicious. Those reasons count too.
Individual dietary needs differ. Recipes are culinary information, and you should adapt them to your preferences and personal requirements.
Mara is a home-cooking creator and the founder of Doubstsucare. She began sharing recipes online in 2016 after friends repeatedly asked for the weeknight dishes, vegetable sides, simple desserts, and “what do I do with this ingredient?” notes she kept in a well-used kitchen notebook.
Her work is centered on approachable home cooking, recipe organization, and the small practical choices that make it easier to get dinner onto the table. She is not presented as a dietitian, physician, nutritionist, or other healthcare professional. Her role here is that of an experienced recipe creator and home-cooking guide.
Outside the kitchen, Mara photographs farmers-market produce, collects old serving bowls, walks almost everywhere she can, and believes the best recipes leave enough room for you to make them feel like your own.
Follow along on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube for public recipe previews and behind-the-scenes kitchen notes.
The member experience is designed to feel welcoming and useful, not noisy. New recipe notes arrive in your inbox, seasonal collections are refreshed, and you can dip in whenever you need an idea. There is no pressure to cook every recipe or follow a strict plan.
Think of it as shared enjoyment of food with a practical backbone: a creator you can get to know, recipes you can organize, and inspiration that is ready when you need it.
